Please note that for Seasonal Explorers, the fee is for the entire session, not on a day-by-day basis. Refunds will not be given for any missed or cancelled outings, and missed outings cannot be made up. Any participant removed from a session due to behavior will not receive a refund.
Refunds will not be given if a day's program is cancelled due to inclement weather. Similarly, a child who is absent or leaves early due to illness, injury, or any other reason will not be refunded for that day's fees. However, if the child cannot return for the rest of the session, a partial refund may be issued for the remaining days.
If a refund is issued, it may be subject to an administrative fee. Refunds will be provided if a program day must be cancelled due to staffing shortages.

Yes, we experience nature in all seasons and various weather conditions. It’s essential for participants to dress appropriately to stay comfortable and dry, allowing them to focus on fun and learning. We also have fires for warmth and shelter available as needed.

Safety is our top priority, and we monitor the weather regularly. In cases of extreme cold (below -20°C) or extreme heat (over 30°C), staff will limit exposure and continually assess participants' comfort and safety, watching for signs of frostbite, heat exhaustion, and other weather-related concerns.
If dangerous weather develops during programming, staff will seek shelter for the group and stay until conditions improve. We may cancel or modify programming in case of severe weather, poor travel conditions, or unsuitable site conditions. If local schools are closed due to weather, we may also need to cancel the day’s session. Parents will be notified of cancellations via email at least one hour before the program start time.
If a decision is made to end the day early due to extreme weather, parents/caregivers will be contacted to pick up their children early.

Yes, a washroom is available. Unaccompanied participants must be able to toilet independently. While we understand accidents happen, children should need little to no assistance for general bathroom use. Please remind your child to use the washroom before drop-off.
